ISO 14001
Being concerned with environmental preservation and care, ALTONA has an Environmental Management System according to the ISO 14001 standard. Over the last few years, ALTONA has invested in projects of a preventive nature in order to guarantee environmental protection.
Awareness is the main issue when it comes to environmental management. Therefore, the system provides for on-going awareness programs applying to all employees, extending them also to the community.
