ALTONA S.A. Receives Caterpillar’s Supplier Quality Excellence Process Certification.

ALTONA is the first Brazilian steel foundry to be awarded a certificate in accordance to Caterpillar’s Supplier Quality Excellence Process (SQEP), for its results in process control and quality through out the supply chain. ALTONA is one of only three steel foundries in the world to have achieved this certification.

The SQEP standard was introduced by Caterpillar in order to ensure international supplier quality. The Caterpillar Certified Supplier Certification is awarded only to suppliers that adhere to stringent quality , production and delivery guidelines as well as continuous improvement in all aspects of supplier-customer relations.
This certification demonstrates ALTONA strong values and principles in conducting business and its commitment to improve the efforts through a Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma across our supply base.
