05-04-2011: For the 12^th consecutive time, the Brazilian Oil Institute (IBO) together with the National Organization of the Oil Industry (ONIP) are organizing the Brazilian Pavilion for this year’s OTC – Offshore Technology Conference in Houston, Texas. OTC is the world’s foremost event for the development of offshore resources in the fields of drilling, exploration, production and environmental protection. It will take place from May 2^nd – May 5^th and will host a delegation of 33 Brazilian companies, 18 of which participating for the 3^rd consecutive year.

The main goal of the Brazilian Pavilion – which is part of the Oil-Brazil Project and is sponsored by the Brazilian Agency for Export Promotion and Investment (APEX) – is to foster exports, giving greater visibility to national suppliers of goods and services. Each year, OTC attracts more than 60,000 attendees and 2,000 exhibiting companies representing more than 110 countries.
