In 2023, Electro Aço Altona achieved the "Gold Seal" of qualification from the Brazilian GHG Protocol Program. This internationally recognized initiative represents a significant milestone in our efforts to quantify, manage and report greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in compliance with ABNT NBR ISO 14064-3:2007 standards. Through the inventory process and verification by a third-party body (ABNT), we have obtained validation, thus helping the organization to draw up effective strategies for reducing environmental impact and contributing to the global fight against climate change. The "Gold Seal" is the highest level of recognition for companies that demonstrate compliance with all the transparency criteria in publishing their emissions data on the Public Emissions Registry platform promoted by FGVces (Center for Sustainability Studies of the Getulio Vargas Foundation).
