We are pleased to thank NASA and BECHTEL for the renowned honor given to us during their recent visit to Brazil to celebrate the Electro Aço Altona Centennial. This recognition, offered to Altona, on March 25, 2024, in Blumenau, represents a notable milestone in our journey of innovation and dedication to the advancement of space exploration. NASA has entrusted Bechtel with providing the infrastructure needed for the most important human space missions of this century. Bechtel is designing the Mobile Launcher 2 – a mobile launcher that will support the SLS rocket on the Artemis IV Mission, which will return to the Moon. Their visit to Brazil and the decision to honor Altona as a supplier of steel parts for the base launch of the Artemis Mission rocket, serves as a testament to our commitment to excellence in engineering cast and machined parts and also a reaffirmation of the impact of our work on a global scale. This moment marks an important occasion not only for Altona, but also for the entire network of suppliers and collaborators who supported us in our mission to advance aerospace technology. Altona also recognizes the work of the dedicated Castconnex and PVS team members whose experience was fundamental to this achievement and the important work of their employees resulting in the successful delivery of the parts.
